- Phone Number: We collect and verify your phone number using a verification code sent by text message. This is used for two-factor authentication to secure your account.
- Resumes and CVs: We collect the CV and resume content that you upload or compose on our platform.
- Connected Accounts: If you opt in to connect your Gmail account, we collect access tokens through the Gmail API to track relevant emails and assist with your outreach.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data to power your job search tools:
- Account Verification: We use your verified phone number to send secure login codes via text message. This is mandatory before using the account.
- Resume Parsing and Scoring: We process your uploaded or written CV content through Google's Gemini API to analyze, score, and tailor it for job descriptions. This data is used solely to generate feedback for you and is never used to train external models.
- Gmail Tracking and Outreach: If you choose to connect your Gmail account, we use the Gmail API to read and send emails on your behalf to support your inbox tracking and networking outreach. You can disconnect this integration at any time.
- Contact Enrichment: For our Connect networking feature, we look up public professional contact details via our third-party enrichment provider, Apollo.io, when you search for professional contacts.

We use secure cookies to manage your active sessions and keep you securely logged in to our system.
5. Data Security and Encryption
We take your security seriously. Sensitive personal data, including your credentials and integrated data, is encrypted at rest and in transit.

To deliver our core features, we work with trusted third-party service providers. These processors include:
- Google (for authentication, Gemini API resume processing, and Gmail API integration)
- LinkedIn (for OAuth authentication)
- Apollo.io (for public professional contact enrichment)
